The Commentary

I didn’t make much on the side hustle this month because of a project I was working on. The project comes to an end in March/April and that has priority than anything else. Technically it is a side hustle gig, but I don’t really include that in any reports because (1) it only pays after the entire project is complete which is a 9 month endeavor and (2) this isn’t a side hustle that just anybody can do. I try to focus only on side hustles that the normal, everyday Joe can obtain and do. If an ordinary person can’t obtain it, then it’s it false to even count it? That’s just my opinion. However it does pay really well.

So in lieu of this side hustle, I had to switch gears and work on that project instead. February was also a little tough because I got a little busy at my actual job and I needed to spend more time with that and make sure my classes were top notch.

The Break Down

Grocery Delivery - $787.49

It was a decent month on the grocery delivery side. However just so you know, I didn’t do much at the beginning of the month, I did a lot of this towards the end of the month. The first three weeks of February were dedicated to my special project. I did take a full week off from grocery deliver because I just needed time. It was the first week that I didn’t do a grocery delivery since I started in December.

Food Delivery - $49.09

A part of February was understanding how all of these side gigs worked together (grocery, secret shopper, and food delivery). When it was slow on the grocery delivery side, I turned on my food delivery and started doing that. I can remember a few days where I did a few grocery delivery, then the next hours were dead so I switched over to food delivery so that I was making some money rather than no money. As you can see it wasn’t much, but it assured me that I was making something than wasting my time doing nothing.

Secret Shopper - $13.00

This one was a restaurant that I LOVE TO GO AND EAT AT. I can’t say which restaurant, but it is a fast casual restaurant and I usually have to pay to eat here, but this was one instance where they paid me $5 plus my food, so I did it. That’s the only reason I did it, no other reason at all.

The Wrap Up

For 2019, the amount of Side Hustle Income comes to $2,797.40.

If this is the first time you’re reading one of these reports, you should know that generally speaking, none of this income goes to everyday expenses of running my household. I saw that with a small grain of salt because a portion does go to pay credit cards and sometimes expenses go on the credit cards and so theoretically some of this income does goes towards everyday expenses, but its a little complicated even for me to digest.

A majority of this income goes towards getting a new car. For more information on how I plan to pay for that new car, see my No Debt New Car Reports.

Well, that’s a wrap for February 2019, here comes March which I am hoping to continue the growth in my side hustling gigs.
